The Bachchan family outshine at the Filmfare Award 2025. Three members of Bachchan family won Filmfare Award 2025, starting from Amitabh Bachchan, Jaya Bachchan and their son Abhishek Bachchan. Amitabh thanked fans on social media with a heart touching for post for their support, with sharing a glimpse or short video of all 3 Filmfare Award won by him and his wife and son. It's was the memorable moment and heartfelt moment for the Bachchan family and theirs fans, it was not just the night of award distributio, Abhishek Bachchan gave his father tribute & honour by performing on his father movies songs.

At the event, Amitabh Bachchan wasn't present but his wife, son, daughter Shweta Bachchan and grandmother Navya Naveli Nanda was there. Abhisek Bachchan's perfomance at the event made emotional to his mother Jaya Bachchan and his sister and niece was cheering up for him. 

On Monday, 13 October 2025, Amitabh Bachchan, shared a video on X (formerly known Twitter), proudly holding all three filmfare awards. In the caption, he wrote in Hindi it's a english translation version of his post: “One family... three members in the same profession... three awards on the same day. 70 years of Filmfare honouring Jaya... Best Actor 2025 for Abhishek... and mine for the 70-year celebration. Jaya, Abhishek, and I feel deep gratitude toward the public. Many, many thanks.”

Till now Amitabh Bachchan has won 17 Filmfare Awards in his career for his iconic performance, he has completed more than 50 years in hindi cinema, and till actively working in films and doing shows like KBC and advertisements. His wife and actress Jaya Bachchan has won 9 Filmfare Awards till now. His son and actor Abhishek Bachchan and won 4 Filmfare Awards till now in his career. His daughter in law and actress Aishwarya Rai Bachchan wasn't present at the event, but she won 2 Filmfare Awards in her career till now, so overall Bachchan family has won 32 Filmfare Awards, they all different fans, who admire and love their performance. 

Amitabh Bachchan's upcoming movie projects are Ribhu Dasgupta’s "Section 84" with Abhishek Banerjee, Nimrat Kaur and Diana Penty and also a sequel to director Nag Ashwin's Kalki 2898 AD. other starring cast of the film are Prabhas and Kamal Hassan. According to reports Bachchan will do the role of Ashwatthama and filming is set to start in December, 2025.
