Randhir Kapoor was born on 15 February, 1947. He is an Indian actor, who mainly worked in Hindi cinema or bollywood. Apart from being an actor, he also produced the films and is also a director. But from last 10 years, he is not active in any type of works like in acting field. He is the elder son of The Great Showman of Indian Cinema - Raj Kapoor. He belongs to a Kapoor family, who is known as the first filmy family of Indian Cinema, starting from late grandfather Prithviraj Kapoor, than his father Raj Kapoor, followed by him and his brothers Rishi Kapoor and Rajiv Kapoor. Randhi is the first person from the third generation of his family, who started following his family legacy of being an actor. 

Randhir Kapoor made film debut as an lead actor in 1971 with the film Kal Aaj aur Kal. He has completed more than 50 years in hindi cinema, it's a milestone thing for any actor to complete 5 decades in film industry. Randhir wife is Babita Shivdasani Kapoor, they married in 1971. Babita was also an actress, she was opposite cast to Randhir Kapoor's first film Kal Aaj aur Kal. The couple have two children both are daughters. His elder daughter is Karisma Kapoor and youngest daughter Kareena Kapoor Khan, both his daughter didn't need the help any introduction, they are well established actress of Bollywood industry. 

Karisma Kapoor was born on 25 June 1974 in Bombay, Maharashtra, India. There was rumours and misconceptions of the Kapoor's family that womens of the family were not allowed to do acting and there were rumours that both Babita Kapoor wife of Randhir Kapoor and Neetu Kapoor wife of Rishi Kapoor wasn't allowed to continue to acting field after the marriage, and none of the daughters of Kapoor family like Raj Kapoor's sister, daughter, Shammi Kapoor's daughter and Shashi Kapoor's came into films as an actress. But Karisma Kapoor broke down these rumours by entering to films as an actress, she continued their family legacy and she was the first actress of her family, than her younger sister Kareena Kapoor also followed the same field and they proved themselves in the industry with theirs performance and box office records. Kareena was born on 21 September 1980. 

Karisma Kapoor married to Sunjay Kapoor in 2003, but they divorced in 2016, they have two children a daughter and a son. His second daughter Kareena Kapoor's husband is actor Saif Ali Khan, they married in 2011 and the couple has two sons. Randhir Kapoor is now 78 years old unfortunately his both the younger brothers Rishi Kapoor and Rajiv Kapoor passed away few years back, which was really a shocking phase for any brother and same goes for Randhir Kapoor, he was really disheartened with the news of his brother.
