Luka Doncic made his professional debut at 16 years, making history as the youngest player to play for Real Madrid.
Doncic was chosen in the 2018 NBA Draught, making him an NBA player. Luka Doncic joined the Mavericks in 2018 after spending three seasons with the Real Madrid team in the EuroLeague. In 51 EuroLeague and ACB games for Real Madrid as a 16-year-old, he averaged 4.3 points, 2.5 rebounds, and 1.8 assists in over 12 minutes per game while playing off the bench. Doncic led Real Madrid to a fourth-place EuroLeague finish in his second season of play, starting 26 of 77 ACB and EuroLeague games. In four of the 36 EuroLeague games, he scored the most points for the team.
Doncic's EuroLeague career peaked in 2017-18, when he led Real Madrid to their tenth EuroLeague title. Over 33 EuroLeague games, he averaged 16.0 points, 4.8 rebounds, and 4.3 assists. Doncic was named EuroLeague Final Four MVP and EuroLeague MVP after Real Madrid defeated Fenerbahce Dogus in the EuroLeague finals. At the age of 18, he was the youngest EuroLeague MVP.
