Rishi Kapoor was well-known Indian actor of 1970s, 1980s and 1990s era. He was born on 4 September 1952 in Mumbai, Maharashtra. His full name was Rishi Raj Kapoor, his middle Raj comes from his family legacy like from Prithviraj Kapoor his grandfather and Raj Kapoor his father. Rishi was born into the house first family of hindi cinema, The Kapoor Family. Kapoor family has given many stars to Indian cinema, starting from his grandfather Prithviraj Kapoor, his father Raj Kapoor, his uncles Shammi Kapoor, Shashi Kapoor, his elder brother Randhir Kapoor, his younger brother Rajiv Kapoor, his cousins Kunal Kapoor, Karan Kapoor and Aditya Raj Kapoor and now next generation his niece Karisma Kapoor, Kareena Kapoor, his son Ranbir Kapoor, his nephew, who is the grandson of his uncle Shashi Kapoor, Zahan Kapoor, also entered into the Bollywood. Rishi was the third child of his parents Raj Kapoor & Krishna Raj Kapoor. Apart from being an actor, he was also a director, producer and a filmmaker. So, if we count contribution his family in the Indian cinema, so it's over 100 decades. This film was huges success for him, Dimple and offcourse for his father Raj Kapoor, because his father went into financially loss after "Mera Naam Joker" than Raj Kapoor decided to do Bobby by launching his own son and new actress, and he was right about his decision.

Rishi Kapoor was popularly known as Chintu, the nickname according to reports was given by his elder brother Randhir Kapoor, the time when Rishi was born, so his family and his love ones also started calling him Chintu of Chintu Ji. He married to actress Neetu Singh in 1989, the had done many movies together before their marriage, and their relationship started when they are working together, and reports say that Rishi Kapoor was the first to purpose Neetu and they over 4 decades of togetherness and memories. They also did few movies after their marriage. They has two Children, Daughter Riddhima Kapoor and Son Ranbir Kapoor. Riddhima Kapoor didn't entered into film industry like his cousin sister Karisma and Kareena Kapoor, but Ranbir decided to become an actor. Unfortunately on 30 April, 2020 due to long time of illness Rishi Kapoor passed away and left behind his unmatchable legacy. He was one of the highest and hardworking actor of his time, when he was on his peak career, that led him success in the industry, many actors were his competitor by proved himself by his works. He was a teenager, when he first acted as an child actor in the Mera Naam Joker, for which Rishi was awarded with the National Film Award for Best Child Artist. For Bobby he won, the Filmfare Award for Best Actor. From 1973 to 2000 for almost 3 decades, He starred as a romantic actor, in around 92 films. He was 67 Years old, at the time, when he passed away.

Rishi Kapoor mother was Krishna Raj Kapoor, she was an housewife.

His brothers are Randhir Kapoor, and Rajiv Kapoor both were good actor, unfortunately after Rishi passing one year later his younger brother also passed away and his elder brother Randhir is alive with us, but he has taken retirement from acting many years ago. The brothers very good bondings.

Rishi Kapoor sisters are Ritu Nanda, and Rima Jain, unfortunately Ritu Nanda, who was the elder sister and eldest child of Raj Kapoor also passed away before Rishi Kapoor's passing. 

His wife his Neetu Singh now Neetu Kapoor, and his children are Riddhima Kapoor Sahni and Ranbir Kapoor. Bharat Sahni is the son-in-law of Rishi Kapoor, and Alia Bhatt is the daughter-in-law of Rishi Kapoor. 

Rishi Kapoor niece and nephews, his niece are Karisma Kapoor and Kareena Kapoor Khan and Nitasha Nanda, his nephews are Nikhil Nanda, Armaan Jain and Aadar Jain. 

Rishi Kapoor's granddaughter is Raha Kapoor, unfortunately he passed away before the marriage of his son, and unable to meet his granddaughter.
