Arjun Rampal is well known Indian actor and model who mainly works in bollywood industry or hindi cinema. He was born on 26 November 1972 in Jabalpur, Madhya Pradesh, India. His family was with military background, Brigadier Gurudayal Singh the maternal grandfather of Arjun Rampal designed the first artillery gun for the Indian Army. Actress Kim Sharma is Ajrun's first cousin. After the separation of his parents, Arjun stayed with his mother and he went to St. Patrick School in Devlali, Nashik his mother was also a teacher on that school later Rampal attended the Kodaikanal international school and he did his graduation from Hindu College, Delhi with a degree in economics with honours. He later to become a model and Arjun was featured in different music videos like Bekaraar in 1996 and more. 

He was recommended by Shekar Kapur for a lead role in movie "Mokhsha". In 1997 he started shooting for the movie opposite to actress Manisha Koirala but film took years to complete. He also got the role for Shantanu Sheorey's Jadhav opposite to actor Jackie Shroff and actress Tabu and Smriti Mishra, the shooting was done but however it was not released. His first film which was also marked as his acting debut as an lead actor was "Pyaar Ishq Aur Mohabbat" released in 2001 opposite to actors like Sunil Shetty, Aftab Shivdasani and actress Kirti Reddy. He earned all the attention by his performance in the film. He later did movies like Deewanapan, in which he was paired with actress Dia Mirza, the film didn't performed well at the box office. 

In 2002, He did Aankhen in an ensemble cast featuring Amitabh Bachchan, Paresh Rawal, Akshay Kumar, Aditya Pancholi and actress Sushmita Sen. He played the role of blind person alongwith actors Akshay Kumar and Paresh Rawal. This film became the fourth-highest grossing bollywood film of year 2002. He did many movies later like Dil Hai Tumhara, Dil Ka Rishta, Pyaar Ishq Aur Mohabbat, Tehzeeb, Asambhav, Vaada, Elaan, Yakeen, Ek Ajnabee, Humko Tumse Pyaar Hai and more. Arjun has completed almost 30 years in the film industry, and he is consider as one of the best actors of hindi cinema, he has huge fan following. He married to Mehr Jesia in 1998 and they have two daughters. After 20 years of marriage the couple announced their separation and they were granted divorce in November 2019 by Bandra Family Court and the couple's two daughters Mahikaa and Myra will live with their mother.
